Skype issue: duplicating contact groups on signing in

Microsoft®’s People Web app allows creating groups of contacts. That’s great. But recent versions of Skype desktop app don’t seem to manage the groups well: they transform groups into Skype groups, but repeat this operation each time I sign in to Skype, creating multiple annoying group duplicates.

To avoid the issue, I deceided to not use People groups anymore, and deleted all those duplicates, and use Skype groups only. But it’s sad that Skype team didn’t manage to avoid creating those duplicates in the first place – a simple ID check should have been enough to resolve the problem. Ugly.
