Need to “Go to Today” everyday in Windows Live Mail

If you have the same problem, i.e. need to click on Go to Today button everyday in the sidebar calendar of Windows Live Mail, provided that you have used the calendar some time ago, and that you haven’t log off your station, nor closed the program since then (e.g. just setting the computer to hibernation daily instead, like I do), you’ll be able to easily resolve it by just clicking a day from the next month, and then click Go to Today from there.

It seems that after the month has been temporarily changed in the view, synchronizing the current date works successfully in the next days again, at least until you use the calendar in the future.
