Umm Ḩasan, Sudan – Geography Series

Umm asan is a village in Sudan (Africa) close to the Nile, at the edge of the Sahara desert. The name Umm Ḩasan is also a Jewish writer name. Read more about her and other Jewish writers here.

Umm Ḩasan is near to Kūstī, a major city in Sudan having a population of about 170,000 people. The city is based on agriculture, but also developed some light manufacturing services.
